The University Art Museum has 9,000 square feet of space that encompass three galleries used to display an amazing array of contemporary art. In addition to between six and eight temporary exhibitions every year, the museum's permanent collection features over 3,000 pieces of art from artists including Dieter Roth, Willem deKooning, and James Rosenquist. The museum is located on the State University of New York - Albany campus, a few miles northwest of downtown.
