The Ten Broeck Mansion was originally built in 1797 for General Abraham Ten Broeck, the famed military leader who lead the troops at the infamous Battle of Saratoga during the American Revolution. Today, the Federal-style house is adorned with an impressive array of period furniture, and visitors to the site can tour the immaculately preserved formal gardens. The home is located just north of the downtown area, west of Riverside Park.
