The Destroyer Escort Historical Museum focuses on exploring the history and stories of the Destroyer Escort class battleship and those men who guided them through WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam. Currently the museum is restoring the U.S.S. Slater, the only Destroyer Escort still afloat, to its original state, allowing a visitors an unparalleled peek in to the boat's history. The museum is located a mile northwest of the State University of New York-Albany East campus, near Lincoln Park and the U.S.S. Slater is moored nearby on the Hudson River.

Adults $7; Seniors (65+) $6; Children (6-14) $5; Children 5 and under are free.
