The Schuyler Mansion was originally built in the 18th century to be the home of famed Revolutionary War general Phillip J. Schuyler and his family. During the family's time there, the Georgian mansion was often used as a staging ground for military and political campaigns, with guests such as George Washington and Alexander Hamilton. Guided tours of the mansion highlight the architecture and furnishings of the home as well as the history of the Schulyer family that lived there. The mansion is located a few blocks southwest of Lincoln Park, near Dapper Farrell Park.
