Historic Cherry Hill preserves over 20,000 objects and 30,000 documents from the 176 years that the Van Rensselaer-Rankin family lived in the house. Visitors can explore a terrible murder that took place in the house in 1827, an event that became a landmark case in terms of many social issues. The historic home is located just northwest of the State University of New York - East Albany campus, near Dapper Farrell Park.
